Another question: overactive letdown

My son gets choked once a letdown begins and gets so incredibly mad. he sputters and spits and gasps and screams until he is bright red. I feel so bad when this happens! Is there anything I can do to help?

Have him in a more vertical position when he nurses if you are sitting up. Lying down with him on your side can slow the flow. Having him nurse face down on the breast when you are lying on your back. Try these.
