Screams and Cries at the breast and VERY gassy!

My DS is 3 months old and was born a month early. He didnt get to breastfeed right away because I had a c section and was out of it for the rest of the day and that night. The next day I tried to nurse him and he refused. I used a pump and gave him colostrum in the hospital. We rented a pump from the hospital and when we left my milk had come in so I pumped at home and fed him with a bottle. Everyday I put him to my breast and he screamed and hollered. Then one day out of the blue he just decided to latch on and has been latching himself ever since. The only problems we are having now is that he is VERY gassy, spits up alot, and screams at the breast. Is there any advice you can give me on what I should do or what you think is going on. We've ruled out acid reflux.

Try to slow him down during feedings. Break after a couple of minutes and burp. Also try to lean back and/or hold him more upright during the feedings. Remember to always have him finish the first breast first before offering the other. If he does not want the other don't worry about it unless his diaper counts drop and his weight is of concern.
