I have known the woman since I was 4. She was a nurse at the local doctors office where I used to live. She is SUCH a beautiful person. She became the school nurse in the district I worked in so we came friends as adults. She helped me all through my IF years supporting me emotionally and praying for me. She sang at DH and my wedding and surprised us by having The Orleans Band join her. She has this AMAZING energy about her- just being near her makes you feel so loved.
Today was the last day we were in VT. right before the kids and I left I had an urge to walk into town with them. She lived a couple towns over but just happened to be walking down the same hill we were walking up. We came up to each other and started crying we were so happy to see each other. She said she didn't know why she was walking there, but at mass this morning something came over her to walk there. She said she now knew why.
It was wonderful to see her. She is moving to the PacNW and we exchanged email addresses...
It was one of those moments in life that you know happened for a reason. I will cherish it in it's simplicity for a long time to come.
