My 2 oldest just left for the bus for their first day of Jr. High. Both 7th Grade. We had Orientation last night. Took 2 hours to get through all the lines and then meet with what teachers we could, picked up gym clothes, found and worked lockers, and payed for school lunch. Today is 7th grade only day. Monday will be 8th and 9th only then everyone goes Tuesday.

I don't want them to go! I want to keep them home and safe! *shiver* I remember Jr. High. They will do well! I need to let my children grow up, as much as I don't want to! It's inevitable!!

They are great looking kids, and definitely not as worried as you are! :hug:

Thanks. Yes. They were excited! Main reason is they saw so many friends from the other schools they went to while we were building our last home. They are looking forward to rekindling those friendships again.

It better get easier because everytime I even think about ds starting kindergarten (we start on the 28th) I get weepy...

I'm weepy now! DS#2 starts Monday... It's been such an awesome summer! I don't want it to end! I will still have my 2 youngest home with me.

Well goodluck!!! At least I get to keep ds2 home with me for another 4 1/2 yrs!!!! Cute kids though!!!!!

i did fine when I dropped DD for her first day of preK, until I drove off. it didn't help that DS was flipping out bc we drove away with her (he was only 10 months old at the time) he SO did not like that. I BURST into tears. the next day was fine, no more crying, on either of our parts, LOL!

Awwwwwwwwww!! Thomas hits Jr. High in 9 days! Grace goes into 1st Grade in 9 days. My lord, they grow too fast!

Your kids are so damn cute. They both look so confident and happy.....and ready!! How sweet are they!!
