Hi
I had premature twins on july 20th .... they were only 23 weeks. I have to rely on a hospital grade pump to produce milk for them. I lost my son on august 11th and since then the stress has made an impact on my supply. I was producing about 20 - 24oz a day before which i was told was low for twins as it was but now i'm barely making 5oz a day. When Brady passed it was hard to follow a schedule and I will be honest pumping 10times a day was not happening but I tried. The LC that I see told me to give it a week and that stress will reduce your supply... well it's been a week and theres no increase... I have no clue as to what I should do. I really don't want to take medications that will have side affects like the Reglan she wants me to take. Do you have a second opinion? I'm currently pumping every 2hrs with a hospital grade medela double pump and i'm producing less than an ounce on each side as i pump for 20 mins.
