Milk Blisters

How can I get rid of the milk blisters. I was told by a nurse to remov the skin to break them? They sopainful andI have no idea how to remove them

Are they filled with clear liquid or milk?

Milk. I have tried to heat my nipples then feed but it hasnt worked.

i should add that we were being treated for thrush/ yeast that has been very difficult to get rid of.

Use heated edible oil and rub gently. Then open it with a sterilized nipple(hold under a flame to sterilize) and squeeze out the milk. Skin sometimes grows over the nipple pore and it is really painful as you know.

sterilized nipple? Sorry, maybe this isnt a milk blister - Its not on the acutal nipple part but right before it raises.....
