Remember my fiasco in finding a OB? My provider was trying to get me on board with a high risk doctor but they have rejected me. I know this sounds weird, but I took it as a compliment! They take patients when no OB in town will touch them. I understand I am high risk but did not feel I was 'that' high of risk.
They recommended a OB for me, called them and they said they would be happy to accept me. Was hoping for an earlier appt but will take what I can get! (Sept 4th) I had my doctor fax over my medical record and already sent back the paperwork they sent me. They called me to thank me for being so on-top-of it.
Additionally...
My doctor called me at work personally to go over my latest round of lab work. She sounded so excited on the phone. My numbers were perfect! Didn't have time to go over the actual numbers but she was beyond proud of how hard I've worked to get healthy, she said by looking at my last 2 labs, you don't see a diabetic patient. Yipeee!
Only thing low (still) is my vit D. She wants me to double check with the OB in taking supplements to get that up. (I've struggled with that number for nearly a year)
