I wish I lived where you live! We have the crappiest yard sales here. I never see anything.

How do you decide where to go? Do you look them up in the newspaper prior to going or do you just drive around?

I look them up on craigslist and on my newspapers website's classifieds section. I write down all the ones that are in the 3 towns around me (all close together) I mapquest the addresses if I'm not familiar with where they are.

I don't really plan a "route" but I do hit up the ones first that list things I'm looking for (baby stuff, maternity clothes, etc.) Or to the multi-family or community yard sales first. Then whenever I'm out I always see signs for them while I'm driving and stop if they look good.

Today our Walmart had a big section in the parking lot where people set up tables (it was a charity thing) They do it twice a year here.

Awsome finds!

This weekend I found a really nice baby jogger for $30 and a superfly second step baby carseat for $20. I tried to give her $40 for them both, but she got my number and wouldn't budge. I totally caved because I thought $50 was worth it for 2 nice items like that in great shape.
