What does your tap water taste like?

My water tastes like dirt with a very very mild smell of chlorine.

Water. We have pretty decent tap water here.

Usually chlorine. When we get a lot of rain, it smells like mold. When we are low on rain, it looks dirty. We are assured that it's fine. Needless to say, I don't drink it straight from the tap, and I'm not particularly thrilled to be bathing in it.

like fish pond water when it rains. other wise fine, but we dont drink it whatsoever. we have two wells and one is very shallow and gets muddy when it rains.

My mom has the best well water I've ever tasted. I go to her house to fill up jugs instead of buying bottled water.

It doesn't taste too bad, but it smells like a big ole fart. If I let it run for a few minutes the smell goes away, but GAH, it is NASTY smelling if we've been away for a few days.

Even my kitchen drain smells that way if I don't run water through it every day.

I live in an apartment, so I don't know what's causing it or if there's anything I can do about it.

Exactly what I was going to post. We have pure Rocky Mountain Spring water because it comes from our Rocky Mountain springs.
