AF is a no show....

AF started last month on the 18th. It lasted 5 days. Could nursing make AF sporadic? I don't feel pregnant at all so I'm sure this is not the case.

DD nurses a lot still at 15 months. On average I would say at least 7 times a day.

I think it's normal to have sporadic periods while nursing, especially since you just got it back. But if you have had unprotected sex you may want to test JIC.

last month as in july or august? cus my last one was AUG 5th adn i started a few days ago.

If you are talking about Juky 18th, I think you should test just in case. FWIW, I didn't FEEL pregnant this time or the time before either, but I was.

You could be pregnant! FWIW, my dd was about the same age, nursing all day long and night, and I got pregnant with dd2 with my first ovulation (before first ppaf).

I meant July ( sorry, forgot what month we are in now.) I know AF is coming because I feel crampy and bloated so no worries there. I had gotten my first PPAF when DD was around 8 months IIRC. I have had one every month since. Yes I have had sex about 3 weeks ago and it was partially protected.


I wonder if it becomes affected when DD starts nursing more? KWIM? I just find it odd that my friend has already had 2 AF and I am still waiting for mine. Could BF a lot delay AF?

Increase in nursing could possibly delay AF. Or you could be pregnant, bloated ot not. LOL. I would Give it a few days or a week and then test if AF doesn't show.

No, I know I'm not pregnant. After 4 kids I can tell. I think it's just from nursing more.

I got my first PPAF with DD4 when she was about 8 months. I had one period and was waiting the next month for it to show up. When it didn't I wondered if BFing was causing it to be wonky, I have always been like clock work when it comes to my cycle, anyway I waited a couple of days and when it still didn't show I POAS just to make sure and the results of that test will be 8 months in a couple of days.

FWIW we were using protection and I didn't feel pregnant at all I usually get sick from time of conception on and I had none of that with my pregnancy this time. If AF doesn't show in a couple of days I would test.

Personally I'd POAS just to be sure.

I do know that an increase in nursing can cause your cycles to space out or to stop altogether. I have had one cycle six months ago (Lindsay will be two next month), then she started nursing like a newborn again and the next two cycles were only spotting, then nothing for the last four months.

Well I have my ticker because I got my period and was late while nursing. I had only 1 PPAF before getting pregnant.

Why don't you just POAS? It can't hurt anything.

My last AF ended July 25th. So I must have started July on the 20th or 21st. I guess I am not as late as I thought.

Well for me i tend to start a bit later. Say I start on the 1st. I am done by the 5th but next month does not show until a week later on the 11th. S ow when this one shows early in the month my next one will come mid month. I still think it is from nursing.
