My DD has slept through the night since she was 4 months. About 1 month ago she started waking in the middle of the night. Usually she would cry a little and fall back to sleep on her own in a few minutes. She would do this almost every night and I would only have to go in and attend to her about 1 time a weeks
We just got back from vacation and while on vacation I had to attend to her crying due to worrying abotu waking others on the ship. This usually meant I would feed her because it was easy and put her back down.
Now that we are back she is getting up every night and not calming in a few minutes. I really think it is her teeth but I don't know. I try to pat her back but she doesn't settle. I usually end up feeding her to get her back to sleep
Myquestion is, is there a nutritional need at 7 months that would cause her to wake. Any other ideas for getting her back to sleep without feeding her
Cosleeping is not an option.
Any advice would be great
Thanks

Yes, there could have always been a bit of hunger in the night, but as an easy going baby, she could go back to sleep and ignore it. Babies usually still need to eat one time in the night--sleeping thru the night is defined as 6 hours straight. and they may need to eat one time during the night for a year or more. There is a common growth spurt at ABOUT 6 months, and you may have hit that kind of late. If baby has not increased number or length of feedings during the day, often because baby is too busy doing stuff, they may show up at night, when all is quiet and baby realizes they are hungry.

If it's teething, consider motrin and see if that helps. also give lots of "chew toys" during the day to help things along. mine got first teeth at 7.5 months. my first barely noticed, my second son was miserable.
