okay, so my main questions have nothing to do with the actual breastfeeding, and may seem obvious to some. But to me it is a struggle, and I need help.
I have always skipped breakfast, and when I was in high school I took out my lunch period and put in a class so that i could get done with school early. So for four years I literally ate once a day, and sometimes I didn't eat if I could get away with it. So unfortunatly, I have no clue on what you should be eating, or really, how much is too little. So every day I have to write it down and keep track of calorie intake, I don't get hungry like most people, and I can easily forget to eat. I know some will read this and think, I wish I had that problem. And I have to say, no you don't it is horrible.
So now that I have the basics out there, this is my problem. I notice that when I go on vacation, i produce a lot more milk then when I am at home.
I eat breakfast which consists of scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon. I am not fond of cereal in the morning, and usually stick with oatmeal at my mid morning snack. does anyone have any suggestions on what I could take to work for breakfast the is good, cheap, and microwavable(or toaster oven). I have been able to keep my milk up since I came back home on Tuesday, and I want to keep it up. Please help!!! And I know it is wordy, I am a firm believer in "information is key"

Instant Oatmeal
Toasted bagel with cream cheese or peanut butter
Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich
Yougurt and Fruit
Eating enough calories and even more importantly drinking enough water is key to keeping your milk supply up. Good luck.

I do a bagel with SunButter (I don't consume peanut products while lactating/pregnant) or a Cliff bar--high in fiber and protein-- on the days that I work and eat on the go.
I also make steel cut oats in the crockpot every night/morning for my kids, so I often eat that, too.

my food list for the day
2 packages of instant oatmeal
slice of blueberry bread, without the crust usually
2 tacos with sour cream and salsa
lasana bake
corn on the cob
Does that sound about right
I also have 2 large glasses of milk (like a 12-16 oz glass)
2 large glasses of juice
2 glasses of water(I HATE water) sometimes 3-4
and a large cup of decaf coffee
That sounds right to me but my perception is off

I think that is a normal amout of food IMO. I tend to be a hungry cow now that I am BF so I want to eat constantly which my not be the norm for you...but I think what you listed above is a good amount of food.
I usually eat oatmeal in the morning and fruit for breakfast. Its fast and easy.
Bagels are a good idea too for a fast food.
Sometimes I'll make a big batch of pancakes on the weekend and freeze some for me to have during the week.
I also buy those biscuits in a can and some pre-cooked turkey suasage patties (jimmy deans makes some yummy ones), put those in the toaster oven to bake while I jump in the shower. I have eggs made from the night before...put them together and it makes for some yummy egg/sausage biscuits!! You could even do this the night before and just microwave the sandwiches when you get to work.
Oh I also bake some muffins (I have some recipes if you like) on the weekend and store those to eat for breakfast during the week.

you can bring waffles....
or, if you can time, you can make breakfast the night before for the week and put it in storage containers or make breakfast sandwiches

yep, i do. I do not use microwaves at all. I heat all of my stuff up in a toaster oven, including eggs. Just make sure not to heat them to long or they will dry out!

I heard recently from a mom who doesn't like to eat breakfast, that she does much better with non breakfast foods. I wondered if that would help you?

Put the water and oats in the crockpot. And we have an outlet timer (you know, the kind that you plug your lamps into when you go on vacation) that I plug the crockpot into and cook the oatmeal for 3-4hrs. You can do this with regular oatmeal, too, but it's very very mushy.
The stove top version can be done by bringing the oats and water to a boil on the stove, turn off the stove and put a lid on the oats, leave overnight. In the morning, cook for 10 minutes.
You can add apples, cinnamon, etc., but my girls like it plain with just some cinnamon. :)

spray a micro safe bowl with pam, crack and egg into it and break the joke a bit. microwave for 1 minute, stir, micro for an additional 10-15 seconds until done. slide off into a tortilla, add some cheese, ham or hot sauce, roll up and eat. If you use a flat bottomed bowl, you can put the egg on toast cause it will be flat enough. or after the egg is mostly done you can add the stuff like a small omlet and then fold it over to serve. I don't usually do more than 1 egg at a time, cause for the amount of more time I can get the skillet up to temp and make em that way instead.
My kids like frozen pancakes (mini ones take 10 seconds each) and the heat and serve sausages. You can put those in the toaster oven too.
We do instant grits and oatmeal. egg sandwiches or burritoes, pancakes, waffles, sausage, Jimmy dean sausage biscuits, occasionally we'll do egg and cheese toaster pastries, cereal or other.
If you don't know how much to eat, read the side of the package and stick with that amount as a serving size, although most americans eat about twice a normal serving size.
You don't have to drink milk to make milk, so only drink that much if you like it.
try to get a protein for breakfast with any carbs to keep you full longer, and that will probably help your supply.

oh you could make mini quiches in the toaster oven if you have a mini muffin pan. or make them at home and they freeze fairly well then thaw in the fridge and nuke em or stick em in the toaster oven til warm.
I make them with a muffin tin. fill bottom of muffin tin with stale bread pieces, push it down flat. Add whatever you'd like in a quiche or omlet--sausage, bacon bits, cheese, veggies, cheese and tomatoes, spinache, etc. pour in scrambled up eggs with salt and pepper up to the rim. bake at 350 for about 10-15 minutes until the egg is cooked thru. cool and freeze in ziplock bag.
