5-MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons cake flour or all purpose (plain, no self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips(optional)
A small dash of vanilla flavoring
1 coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well
Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla flavoring, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake
will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a
little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. EAT! (this can serve 2 if you
want to feel slightly more virtuous).

*****My review it that it has a wierd texture, but is really good. This serves 2 -dont eat the whole thing. It is super filling.

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?
Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time
of the day or night!

I need to stop opening good threads. I just started a diet! I will, however, make this on Friday. I get a whole day free to eat whatever I want every single week!

Good thing I don't have most of the ingredients and a microwave! **laughs**

Sounds yummy, though!!

I am making this today. It's free day on my diet! I can't make a whole cake because there would be a ton left and tomorrow I can't eat it.

It definitely is an odd texture, but it is cakeish.

I am going to try and make it more tender.

Dangerous concept. Chocolate cake in 5 minutes.

Good thing for me that I have no cocoa.

Nothing wrong with white cake.

I don't think I like the idea of cooking a cake in the microwave. (It's a good thing I only have self-rising flour here, I guess. :p)

I think self rising flour would be a good thing. This is kinda stiff, yet still cakey. I think more rise would be a good thing.

Probably for the taste and texture but not for the microwave. :p
