I live in South Texas but we are getting prepared since once it hits the gulf of mexico it can be pretty unpredictable. We went & got a few items this weekend before people here go into a panic and buy all the water and can goods.

The track keeps dipping farther and farther south, and now it's estimated to make landfall Saturday morning, so if you're anywhere on the eastern coast of Texas, keep an eye on it and stay safe!

My sister is in Houston and my dad is near Corpus Christi. I figure one of them could end up getting hit. I doubt either will attempt to leave.

We started buying water and some canned goods this weekend and my mom is going out to get batteries today. We are probably not going to stick around if it is coming at us but since I am part of the relief team at the hospital we will come back in the aftermath with no electricity or water. The last hurrican I experienced was in 1983 and it was a catagory 1 and we lived in a trailer.
