Figure I've put it off long enough! We tried to potty train DS (2 years 9 months) 6 months ago. Didn't go to well. He comes to me whenever he makes a poop and wants of off right away, now. He dresses himself and wants to do everything by himself.

I am busy with scouts and 4 other children, but that's no excuse. He's ready! Wish us luck!!

Good luck, my son is a bit older 2 years 11 months and we are slowly wading into the wonderful world of potty training.

My son just turned 2 last month & I tried to start potty training about a month before his birthday only to find out he's not ready. I think we are going to wait until after the baby is born just in case he would regress after the baby gets here. He's already going to have some big adjusts the way it is I don't want to add potty training on top of it.

Thanks girls. It didn't work out. My DD#1 fell down the stairs at school and I had to take her to the ER yesterday. He had an accident in the waiting room.. didn't even care. Thankfully I had some diapers in the car still. When we got home he wanted nothing to do with potty training anymore. I'm not going to push it.

DD's foot is alright. Nothing broken but she did strain the muscles and tendons in it. She still can't put weight on it so is using crutches. She's bound and determined to go to school today.

Guess I should buy some diapers today since we are almost out.

We are working on dd3 she is 2 years 4 months. She will have a really great day, and then the next day we have lots of accidents. I'm hoping she will be solidly trained in a month or so, so that she will have a good 6 months under her belt before the baby is born. I expect her to regress when the baby comes, but figure that maybe it won't last too long, if she has been pt for awhile.
But if she isn't she isn't, you really can't push it too hard. DD2 taught me that lesson.
