:D OMG IM PREGNANT!

So whats the protocal here? Last time I cried in a heap outside the clinic until I could walk and then cried the whole way home and then kind of waited for other people to tell me what to do.

So do I contact a midwife now? I need to go grab pre natals and ohhh I am so happy :D I can't remember what I did last time at all.

woooohoooo! you are having a baby! congrats:), I would go with a prenatal....I never stoped taking mine just in case dh and I wanted to ttc sooner or later.

I would ask around, friends possible family for reference to a good midwife, if you start looking now it gives you time to search and interview for the right one for you.

are you telling friends and family or are you waiting a while? I could never keep my mouth shut :)

I can't keep my mouth shut either. I was telling my friends last night that I was possibly pregnant but I didn't know yet :P So now I need to phone and confirm.

I just feel like the tests are lying, I am having some momentary denial. I know some people try for years so Its not like it has been a decade or anything.. but everyone kept telling me I was young and would be pregnant immediately and when it hit the one year mark back in April I started thinking it would not happen for me again. I am just so happy :D

Wahoo for you!! You are having a baby!! Congrats~ how exciting! I took folic acid too, in addition to the prenatal, just to be safe:) The March of dimes recommends it as a supplement for all women of child bearing ages.

Well he was sleeping because he was up late last night. I ran into the room and shook him awake and screeched something incoherent at him about "AM I HALLUCINATING WHAT DOES THE TEST SAY DO YOU SEE THE SAME LINE OH MY GOD"

He stared at me and then the test and blinked sleepily and said "ohh congrats thats really great, there is definately a line there, Im happy babe, I am going back to sleep now though".

He is one of those people who dosen't really get excited until the baby arrives, he was the same way with Dreighton, he was ecstatic after he was born but dosent have that same mommy emotion that I get when I am preggo.

I actually don't take pre-natals. I just take a children's chewable - one that's low in vitamin A. And then two 400mcg folic acids, so I have a total of 1 mg folic acid when the children's vitamin is added in.
