DD has been walking for almost a month. She has not been in any shoes of any kind all summer long.

The weather is changing from summer to fall, sooner than later here in Northeast WI. With the seasons changing (and her moving to the toddler room at daycare), she is outside at least twice a day while at daycare.

I am looking to purchase some soft rubber soled shoes...thinking of Robeez Tredz, Robeez Shoes (shoot, can't remember the exact line, not sure if they're called Shoes), or Pedipeds (not sure if we need originals or the new Flex ones).

Does anyone have any AWESOME first walking shoes that your lo's used? The price of them is not really the issue. I want to purchase shoes that are similar in nature to either Robeez or the Target knock off Robeez (that being nice and comfy but durable for DD).

I was at Payless Shoes today, just browsing thru their (tiny) infant selection of shoes. I didn't find anything. Maybe I'm just picky but if I am going to pay between $15- $20 for infant shoes at Payless, then I'm going to pay a little extra and get the Robeez or Pedipeds (or whatever other great suggestions come up).

I want soft, durable, quality shoes. That do not get wet if DD happens to be outside at daycare and the ground is wet.

Thanks!

Dancing Otter had a website for some that were like Robeez but with a waterproof lining, unfortunately, I don't remember the name and I don't think she's posting here anymore. Maybe someone else will remember. Beyond that I'm not much help.
