Ok, I'm not TTC, but you ladies are so good at this baby making stuff I thought I'd post here. DH and I have pretty much decided that our family is complete, but not so much that we're 100% preventative. I'd say I'm about 25% hoping we have an "oops" but i don't know where he is on the spectrum.

Here's the timeline:
Friday: Seriously sloppy EWCM...we had no sexual contact (tired, no condoms, sister visiting...)
Sat: Still out of condoms, still very in the mood still fairly slick, but not sloppy. Had sex 3 times using the old pull and pray (DH is surprisingly controled at this, but I do realize it's far from reliable)
Sun: Didn't have a chance to check CM, cervix definitly lower, and I was definitely less wet, but I'm not sure of the consistancy. We had a little into the moment, throw caution to the wind oops that morning.

It seems like since EWCM was so heavy on Friday, that by Sun, we should have been most likely safe, right? Or am I way off here?

Any insight is appreciated, otherwise, I guess I'll know in a couple of weeks when AF either comes or doesn't. As DH said, "well, I guess we're about to find out just how fertile we are."

It's possible to gear up to ovulate and not ovulate though. I would not rely on only EWCM. If you did ovulate during that time, I'd guess sat instead of friday based on what you wrote. And you can get pg after ovulation - I forgot how many hours after ovulation, I think it's like 24 or 36.

Well, we usually rely on condoms no matter what phase I think I'm in since I'm not temping/charting. I'm thinking it's 24hrs after ovulation that fertilization could occur since I'm pretty sure that's how long an egg can live. Hmmm...if you're thinking Sat, then Sun would be within 24hrs. This could be a long 2wks.
