Finally done. It's not perfect but he loves it and I am proud. I even did the binding all by myself for the first time!

That is awesome. My mom is making a quilt similar to that for my ds1. Some of the fabric you used is the same!!! :)

Holy cow, you got all kinds of cute with that!
All the squares withe the car patches appliqued on, and the checkerboard really makes it pop!
And double points for making the back intersesting too..I love when there is something on the back of a quilt.. Awesome job, Hammy!!

Very nice!! My son would love something like that.
I made him a lightning McQueen Baby sling when I was trying to make mine for Lily - but it didn't catch on, and since I broke & lost a needle in the shoulder pad of mine, Mine didn't catch on yet, either.

If you 'work' the shoulder, you might be able to pull the needle out. What size needle were you using? I find a denim needle works best for multiple layers.

Thats awesome! DS1 was here when I clicked on it and he loved it and told me he wants one lol :) He's a huge Cars fan and with our last name being Mater he has tons of cars stuff. Great job!!!
