i think you can only buy in store.

i can never find decent stuff cheap enough for nursing clothes so most of the time i wear a bra tank under a shirt so that way i can lift the top shirt up without exposing my belly and all. i bought a shirt off ebay that is a nursing shirt someone made ... its a tank top with 2 slits cut in it vertically and then a shirt over it, i took them apart and i wear the under shirt under other shirts to make them nursing shirts.

I found some at Motherhood in the mall.. But they tend to make you look really frumpy. Not exactly what ya want after having a baby.

I have a couple from Motherwear. Mostly I just yank up my T-shirts though.

I don't. I tried both Motherhood and Motherwear. Part of my problem was that they run huge. I have tiny shoulders and a much smaller chest than average. And it seemed like nursing shirts were made for women with larger chests than average - or at least the ones I tried. Also, I found it more difficult to line everything up. I just pick up my bra and shirt from the bottom and nurse.

Consider yourself lucky! I have broad shoulders and large breasts, all the cute shirts I find make me look like a box with a head! lol

I never found anything that I wanted to be seen in public in. So I just either yank my shirt up or where a camisol is a size bigger than I need so it stretches better under my shirt. outer shirt goes up, undershirt goes down. I did find a few cute things on line but out of my budget.

This might be what I end up doing. I don't want my belly exposed.

Yeah the cute tops I've found are about 60 bucks a top.

Same here. I love the baby doll look but can't pull it off with my bust size.

Well, in that case, motherwear might work for you! (I'm mentioning them over motherhood since motherwear is much better made and I had a few problems with too large gaps with motherhood). I bought all of my motherwear off of ebay.

i dont like my belly exposed either, i figure the less of me exposed while NIP the better lol i also have a hard time spending a lot of money on a shirt i wouldnt get daily wear out of, i work all week and dont go anywhere b/c my fiance works evenings so just for something to wear out, and this makes me get a lot more use out of my regular clothes, i can wear whatever i want instead of nursing tops.

Eh, I always found it was easier to nurse in a regular shirt. More discreet too. With nursing tops I was always fiddling around trying to get my boob through the hole.

I wouldn't bother! They were always more complicated than they should be.

I use a shelf bra cami under my shirts and pull up the shirt, pull down the cami and voila. Nursage with no unsightly baby belly :) If you need something with more holding strength (I'm small chested so I don't have that problem), check out this nursing tank from Bravado (http://www.bravadodesigns.com/product.asp?ID=18) that has support like a traditional bra but in tank form.

I agree. I seem to buy a couple with each pregnancy and then never get around to wearing them. When I have bought them, it has been from Motherhood at the mall.

I may just go with a nursing bra and cami. Thanks!

I never bought nursing shirts either. I'd use a blanket to cover my belly or just wear a nursing bra (cheap ones from wal-mart) with a thin tank top and regular shirt like other have described.

I buy them at the store I work at ;)

But try glamourmom and bravado. both make great nursing tanks.

I am pretty sure that the reason you can't get boob online is because it is fashion store. I have trouble doing my ordering occasionally with them because of this. Worth it though if you can find a place selling it, and have the money. Its just beyond gorgeous stuff. Sooo comfortable and lloks amazing.

I never had nursing shirts because I went someplace alone to nurse every single time.

I had to use a sheild the whole time and it was impossible not to flash a 30 foot radius put that on then fighting with ds to latch.

Personally, I like I Love Mom Nursing Fashions www.ilmfashions.com . They have great styles, not frumpy at all, and they even have a sale page w/ very reasonable prices.

I have bought from here
http://www.breastisbest.com/tops.aspx

I like the wrap style top and the higher necklines, I have narrow shoulders and on the small side of average boobs, and big hips, butt and gut, and thier styles seem to work the best for me.

i was never one for nursing shirts, but i lived in nursing tanks. just wore them under another shirt and it was awesome.

i had both bravado and glamourmom ( GM i bought while pg...) FAR preferred the Bravado one. had to cut the nursing holes out of the GM, remdering it useless for nursing. big waste of money.

the bravado has waay more support ( i was a 38 f while nursing ) and the straps and clasps are far superior. also, it has a full drop cup which i appreciate ( in that i have a large chest that does not fit through those silly nursing holes. they are like beer can rings)

with the tank/shirt or sweater combo i never needed to get anything else...and the tanks are cute enough that i still wear them from time to time as a layering tool. i was happy to sepnd a bit of extra money on them as they were something i have continued to use even after weaning. and the quality is just so much better than the target or motherhood ones. i couldn't even bother with them.

you can find the bravados here, if you are still looking to buy online. www.bravadodesigns.com

We are in rural Idaho; no stores that carry this type of clothing. I have ordered numerous tops/tanks from Motherwear, Motherhood, and Mimi Maternity. All a little pricey; and all (in my experience anyway) run BIG!! I can't say this enough - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! So don't waste time/money on ordering a lot of "cheap" stuff that you'll never wear (I have tons of it unfortunately, trying to save a buck). I love Motherwear's bamboo nursing tank ($39 + shipping) and not being independently wealthy, I only bought 3 of them, in different colors. I wear them with just about EVERYTHING! So it makes the nursing wardrobe VERY versatile. Just put any top over the tank and the closures in the tank discretely expose the breast without the tummy or back showing. I also ordered a few patterns & sewed a dress & 2 tops myself (what a pain!!!) and only wear the dress now - the tops look awful :)

Does anyone know if bravado bras are pretty exact on size or not. I have 36 E bras from motherhood and I pop out the top.

The few nursing tops I owned were too much hassle.

I ended up either wearing a nursing tank (from Target and it was really supportive for my massive boobage) under a regular shirt or a belly band. For me, it was more discreet to lift up my shirt to nurse and as long as my belly was covered it was pretty modest.
