After my DS3 I decided to get the Paraguard IUD. Mainly, because my body reacts badly to the hormonal kind. Also I'm bad with pills so I'll definately forget taking them. But turns out that the IUD I had shifted and thats how I got pregnant with DS4. It actually came out with the placenta.
Anyway, I EBF but my period also returned although a very light period. I already noticed that I have ovulated. I really don't want to have more kids either. But getting my tubes tied/cut sounds a little risky plus I'm only 26 so what happens if I change my mind at some point? Anyone had a IUD before and gotten pregnant and afterwards gotten another? Or any tubal ligation experiences? How about the Essure procedure? I'm looking into BC but I really want "real-life" opinions other than my midwife/ob-gyn recommendations to take into account.
