I turned all "green" about 9 months ago and started recycling everything i could. At that time i bought re-usable nappies and also a "Mooncup" just so i was prepaired for AF returning! Since then i have shown all my bfing friends the mooncup and they all got one too and have managed to use it. They all cannot praise it highly enough, for making them feel cleaner/fresher and reducing cramps too.

With my dd1 i bfed for 25 months and AF returned at 16 months. Now with dd2 She is 19months and there is still no sign of AF - i have never wanted it more just so i can try my new cup!!

Is this Abnormal to still not have my AF at 19 months?? Should i be worrying? Has anyone else experienced this?

Still very normal. So women go 2yrs without AF, some don't get it until they quit nursing, some women get it 6wks pp. It varies for everyone.

It's absolutely normal! I breastfed our son until he was 15 months. IIRC, AF did not return until after that.

I am currently nursing our daughter, who is 13 months (almost 14 months). AF has not yet returned. Hooray!!!!!

Where did you buy your Mooncup? I've heard of a different brand, the DivaCup...same theory though, I think. Insert the cup when you have AF and it's reusable, right? Sounds real neat.

The average for ecological breastfeeding is 14.6 months - that means that half happen at or after that time! I've known several women who it took longer than 2 years. I did cup down DS and got my first period when he was 18 months old - otherwise I'm certain it would have been after 2 years. DD cut herself down much more and it took until she was 16 months old.

i cant remember where i got it exactly it was a eco friendly website.. I am desperate to try it since all my friends keep praising it so much. Just feel like i will never get the opportunity. Stupid it may be i know, i should be glad i still dont have them.

Just hope that i get a little warning and im not just bombarded with them whilst out shopping or something! With dd1 i had just flew to Germany for some xmas shopping - was completely unprepaired and AF ruined my trip :(
