Im not sure what is going on here. I am now nursing a 2 year old and recently my nipple's hurt when he latches on. This is all the time.
I also now have heart palpatations that started around the same time the nipple's started hurting.
Ds doesnt have thrush , there is nothing on my nipples they just hurt when he nurses.
It is like he is sucking the nipple off or something.
I can pinch my nipple and they hurt a little but not like when he nurses.
What could be going on?
TIA

How far along would one need to be to feel both heart palps and nipple soreness?

Nipple soreness is one of the first early pregnancy symptoms I experience:) I would POAS to rule it out!

POAS and it was negative. I used the Clear blue digital.

You could be starting AF again. He may have just been using a sloppy latch, and that could cause soreness.
I know with my dd, I had to retrain her to latch correctly. She had just gotten lazy, and I wasn't paying close attention to what she was doing. I would tell her to open wide before she latched on, and if it felt weird or hurt, I would tell her and unlatch her and start again.
I don't know about the heart palpataions, though. Do you think you could just be stressed about the pain of nursing?

I think the heart palpations could be indicative of something serious and I would visit your DR to be sure.

He could be getting new teeth (two year molars?) and sometimes baby will adjust the latch if they are experiencing pain. You could try giving some Hylands for teething pain and see if it subsides?
