she is such a sweet child. She told me that she almost cried in math class yesterday because this boy was making fun of a little girl because she was over wt.
DD said that the little girl started crying and dd stood up and told him how he was not being nice and that he owed her an apology right away. She said that all the kids in the class backed her up and when the sub walked in the boy was still laughing at the girl and the sub did nothing about it so dd went to the principal's office and told him what was happening and he came to the room and made the boy apologize. DD said she then hugged the little girl and made her feel better.
She said "mom my eyes were watery and my throat had a lump in it when I was telling C to leave her alone and to apologize. I did not cry though because I needed to defend her. The whole class was mad at C for being mean."
She just amazes me sometimes as to how brave she is. She one of the smallest kids in her class but she has a huge heart.
