What do you think? Boy or Girl? I have 3 more wraps in the blue color I want to put 2 more pictures on.. but can't decide. Gives the Home made Moby a little more personality, i think!

Pretty... How much did you spend making it? I was going to try to make one but decided to buy it instead.

The fabric was $1 a yard. Cut the fabric into 3 seperate wraps.. soo.. $5 divided by 3. Then some white and yellow fabric scraps I had laying around the house. White thread. I would say less then $3 for one

Super cute! I saw on the other thread that you made a pouch and sling too. Any chance you're looking for work??? (or at least a small project for a little cash?)

Well, with my first I had a ring sling and never really liked it. I used it once with him and twice with DD. I also had a Moby for DD, but it was just way too hot and I used it once. I'm thinking maybe this time around I'd like to try a pouch. I'd always thought they looked a bit awkward, but I saw a lady the other day wearing one that seemed smaller so baby was up higher like the kiss height they recommend with the sling. It also seemed less bulky than the other pouches I've seen so I'm thinking she must have made it or had someone else make it. I'm not really looking for something that would work for the next two years since I have my Ergo, but something for those first few months when I really will need to nurse or carry while doing things with DS and DD.

Let me post a video where I got the Idea for the pouch sling. After you watch it and decide you still want me to make one I will.
Another reason I would like you to watch it is so you can get your measurements. I did not make mine with 2 fabrics. One that didn't have a "wrong side" The fabric was called interlock cotton. It's a heavier t-shirt material that they use to make a lot of baby clothing out of. I can make it out of a lighter material like the blue I used for the Moby.

Watch the video and let me know what you would like to do.

It'll be a bit before I can get back to you. I'm hoping to sit down and watch after the kids go to be tonight...now I just have to get them to sleep before I fall asleep!

 Good luck with that. Mine have been known to lay down with me and wait till I'm out before they get up and go play in their rooms.

I'm not real experienced but I am willing to take a jab at anything.
So far I've made the pouch, I have made multiple wraps and given all but 2 away to friends and family. I have the material (Blue) to make 2 more wraps. (I was wrong on the price I paid for the material it was $4 a yard.. oops.) It kind of has a crinkle to it that gives it wonderful texture and it's pretty thin.
My one attempt at making a ring sling failed miserably.. It was with some mesh material for swimming but I didn't use enough material so it slides right out of the rings.
Blankets are always fun..
Why are you asking?

Ok, FINALLY they're alseep and I got to watch the video. I'm still interested! Of course my tape measure seems to have found a new home...somewhere. I'll have to launch a search for that, but as for material I'm thinking a cotton or a seersucker like she mentioned, nothing too stretchy. Something summery and gender neutral. I'd love a sage sort of color, but I like the blue too (my Ergo is blue). I don't really know much about fabric so feel free to steer me the right direction. If you want to talk price and such feel free to PM me. In the mean time I'll begin the great tape measure hunt...or just buy a new one...again. I may see if you want to do some receiving blankets too, but I guess I should get a few weeks into this pregnancy before I stock up on too much stuff.

Never have, sorry. On the other thread someone posted the instructions for one. I would print it out but our printer ran out of ink a while back. As soon as I get a little more free cash I will go back to the fabric store and take a jab at it.

All of 4wks 1 day based on my calculations. I'm looking at a mid June baby. I'm still REALLY nervous about adding a 3rd, but I think deep down (really waaay deep down) DH and I both wanted this baby even if we couldn't really admit it.
