What do you do if you have thrush in your breasts?

Well, we no longer think women get thrush in their breasts. Tell me what is happening.

I have cracked nipples and I also get stabbing pain throughout the day, particularly in my left breast

I am so sorry. I know that is very, very painful!!!!! Is there a IBCLC to help with latch and postioning? Something is causing damage to your nipples.

Thanks for your reply. I just don't know whats causing the pain? There is a breast feeding coordinator in our area who i havent spoken to yet but the midwife has been helpful and i have been trying different latch positions. But it still hurts :(:confused::(

I am so sorry. Call the BF coordinator. Someone looking at your baby feed can be extremely helpful. Taking time off from that breast and pumping only can allow the nipple to heal.
