It is a house pour bottle with a dreadful name that I cannot put on our list.
It is a french Pinot Noir, very smooth and very mild. The commercial name is Camelot.
Anyone have any ideas?

I think it sounds all right. Since it's French how about you call it Château de (insert your restaurant name) Or a nature name...Whispering Willow.

Cake bread is a crazy name but a great wine.
Do you have a favorite place or favorite book? Personalize it that way.
I dunno, I couldn't even name my child let alone a wine.

Can you wait a few weeks? It would be cute to name it after the winner of the election!
Or I guess you could do it now with the person you want to win... Or if you feel that may turn some people away, maybe an election theme or something.
I like kitch, but maybe that's too much :)

How about mythical places? So I'm not good at this but it's fun. Secret Garden, Hundred Acre Wood, Valhalla, Shangri-La..

What about Rouge Noir?
It is simple and to the point. No one will confuse it with a Pinot Noir because it obviously is a red. Hmmm, you can do Chateau de Rouge Noir and say Rouge Noir for short. That actually might be more fun to say than Cabernet Sauvignon.

I like the name it already has. But I like knights and whatnot so I am biased.

Cakebread is on our list. I have the Reserve Chard and the Merlot. Fabulous wines, indeed.

lol
what about Guinnevere?
Happily Ever After? - (Inspired by the song Camelot)
And a nice note to end on for any meal - and a nice thought to tie to your restaurant should you have to close.
