I am sooo excited!!!!

I just got a call from the mom who interviewed me yesterday. She wants me to start watching her 14 month old TOMORROW!!!! YEH!!! I am soo excited. Her schedule is awesome too. He will come in time for breadfast and go home right before I have to leave to pick up ds from school everyday except Tuesdays when he stays until 4:30!
This also gives me the oppertunitiy for drop-ins as she has 2 other children that may need care when there is no school. Her little girl is 5 (same age as ds1) and she has a 7 yr old boy.

My income just doubled...

A lady who's grandson I used to watch just called me and asked me to watch her newest grandson for a couple of hours every day so she can return to work. It was totally out of the blue and unexpected. I dunno how much to charge her though.

If you want ideas....call around to other daycares and find out what they charge. I charge 110 a week. But I know a lot of regions charge a lot more for full-time care. It depends on where you live and the cost of living.

I know what I charged her for her first grandson. I charged $40 a week, but she dropped him off in the middle of the night, asleep, I got him up and feed him breakfast, changed his diaper and she came and got him.
This time it will be during the day. She is supporting herself and her two grandsons by her self, so I don't want to charge her too much. Once I find out how many hours and what days I can decide for sure.

Just be careful to not take on to much. I know you have a lot on your plate right now annd taking on someone elses child is a large committment!!!! :)
