Finally!

My son has never been into coloring or writing or drawing.

A few weeks ago he decided coloring wasn't so bad and I started giving him some Abeka math coloring things and he's been enjoying them quite a bit. Even so, I have been assuming still that he will be a late writer.

However, today he wanted to write so I have him a pen and some paper and right away he made a T, two I's, an M, an N, several O's and a B! I am trilled. I thought this wouldn't come for a couple years yet. I thought he'd be one of those boys who would write really really late.

I knew he knows his letters, but I didn't think he'd be able to write them! lol This was a kid who never ever enjoyed drawing. :p

That's wonderful!! My 3rd child was one that showed no interest in writing or reading till 2nd grade. He's now in 4th and we are trying to play catch up with his other class mates. (I hate no child left behind crap)

Good job sticking with him and offereing it. Your doing a great job!
