My daughter just turn 9 months and she is 16lbs. She was born 6lbs 3oz. She started solids at 6 months old. For the last month I've been having hard time keeping a good supply. I pump for 20 min and I get 1 oz or so after her second feeding. I used to get 3-5oz. She breastfeeds 4x a day. The 6am and 9am feeds are ok. The 1pm and 8pm feedings are very small. She could eat more, but I think she gets bored. I also take 8-10 fenugreek capsules. The last 3-4 months my supply was up and down, but it always came back with an extra pumping. She eats solids ok, but she keeps loosing interest in breastfeeding when my supply is this low. What can I do?

Older nursing babies can get distracted while breastfeeding.

As your baby increases the amount of solids, your supply can start to decrease. Does she nurse at night? I would recommend nursing before feeding solids. I have a detailed instruction sheet on increasing your milk supply that might be helpful to you. Email me from my website and request it and I’ll attach it to the email as I reply back.

she only wants to nurse before she sleeps and when she wakes up in the morning. I sent you an e-mail. Thank you
