My son is one week and 3 days old. He was 7lbs10oz when he was born and now weighs 7lbs. I am breastfeeding and using a supplemental nurser with formula. He is having very few bm's, he went 3 1/2 days before he had a bm and has not had one since (a day and a half ago). I am trying to up his feedings to every 2 hours but I am having difficulty waking him.
Should I be pumping my milk in between feedings?

Not between, but immediately after. It sounds like he is still not eating enough. I recommend you go back to your pediatrician or LC and recheck latch and milk transfer, because at this early age, no stools and sleepiness are signs of decreased milk intake..and his weight should be higher.

if you could pump after every feeding and that will help give breastmilk for supplements and increase your supply. hang in there.
