So sad. What a time to have this happen, for all involved. I am certain that his DGM would like nothing more than to be healthy and present for the election. I hope she gets a chance to cast her vote. I am certain it would be important to her.
And, really, I think it speaks to Obama's character and values to take time away from this campaign to be with his DGM and spend a what could very well be her last moments with her. If the McCain camp tries to spin this in any negative way it will just bite them in the ass big time.

Awww. That's sad. It's a scary idea for all of us adult children and grandchildren. I hope she makes it to see him on election day she has to be very proud.

How sad for him personally. I feel he is making the right choice going to be by his grandmother's side, I just hope that the "political machine" doesn't eat him up for this. I also really really hope that it the timing of all this doesn't turn out to be a ploy for political momentum.

While I agree with Michele I doubt it will happen.
I hope she able to cast her vote and hope all turns out well for her.

How sad :(
I think he's doing the right thing and I think he would have regretted it if he hadn't done this.
I don't think McCain will do anything nasty right now..at least I hope not. I'd have worried more about the ruthlessness of Rove.

I honestly don't think McCain will be ugly about this. While there are many things about his politics, and lately even his character, that I don't like about him, I truly think he's a better person than to do something mean in regards to this.

Very sad for him and his family.
And no, I do not think McCain and his camp would try and spin this against him.
