I started having very painful contractions. This happened last time I was pg too. I was very stressed and started having progressive contractions by 7 months.
Here's the question: I still have some procardia left over from my last pg. Should I take some or should I wait to talk to the Dr in the morning?

I guess the real question is, would it hurt to take one? I'm just leery of taking anything without talking to him.

If I were you, I wouldn't take it without the doctor telling me to do so.
I personally probably wouldn't take it at all unless I was super bad. I had some strong contractions for quite some time before ds was born. I had them really bad when I was driving home during rush hour traffic, especially the day it took me 3 hours to make a 45-mile trip home.

I'm starting to get worried actually. I don't want to go to the ER , but I don't want to have a miscarriage. I'm sure I'm worried over nothing, but I really don't know when it's a danger.

How often are you having them?
Make sure to lay on your left side and drink LOTS of water, it always helped me to take a warm bath.
Please trust your mommy instincts, if your worried go to the ER, take care of yourself and baby Cole.

Well I guess I'd get myself a big glass of water drink and lay down for a little while. Start timing too. If you are scared go in. you know your body best. trust yourself. There is nothing wrong with having someone check you.
I would not take anything as it could mask what it going on.
Also you might call the hospital/dr/midwife explain what is going on and see what they think.
I'll be thinking about you. Good luck.

Me too. I hope all is well. You've been under a lot of stress. That can cause problems in and of itself.

I would get a nice glass of something to drink, pop a dvd in for the kids and hand them a snack and something to drink and then you go relax in a nice warm, but not hot bath. that helped a ton with my painfull bh contractions. I would take a watch or something in with you, and if the warm water does not calm things down and the contractions stay painfull, get closer together or more painfull, I would head into the er.
you have been under a huge amount of stress and that could be whats causing this.

I ended up going ahead and taking a procardia. They stopped after that and I was able to get some sleep. I just hope this isn't the start of many more months of bh and progressive contractions! Rrrgh!

Call your DR and let them know about this episode and see if you can get your appointment date pushed up.

It is good that they went away, but I would get an appointment right away to make sure all is well and to document the episode.
