Q1. Is my milk supply low? (probably the most common question out there)
Q2. Is it normal to have the left side produce significantly lower amount than the right?
Info for Q1 & Q2:
The last time I pumped I got about a total of 6oz. About 4.5oz from my right and 1.5 from my left. It was around noon, PST, that I pumped. Will be pumping again shortly.
Q3. What Anti-depressants effect breast milk? And how?
Info for Q3:
For a while I was on Knock-Off-Zoloft for PPD. I took myself off when it started to give me really bad headaches. I was on the normal dosage for a week. I think it was 50mg not sure though.
Q4. What foods effect breast milk and tend to make kids really gassy?
Q5. Does changing to BM from formula make kids really gassy?
Q6. How long does it take to drain the formula out of the body?
Info for Q4, Q5 & Q6:
For a while I was feeding my kids formula. Now I'll only feed it to 'em once or twice a day. The formula I use is Similac, for Kori, and Enfacare, for Dain. Even after being completely breastfed for a day, they seem to be REALLY gassy. I mean they toot and burp like no tomorrow. They tend to be VERY fussy throughout the daytime. The night, not so much.
Also, I would like to say thank you for your time. As this is a great service you are providing.

Twins, I presume. Congratulations.
That is a lot of milk to pump at one session. How often do you pump? It is very normal for one breast to produce more than the other, even as much as you report.
Antidepressants don't typically suppress milk production. I am sorry you are suffering from PPD. I would urge you to get back on an antidepressant as quickly as possible.
All babies are gassy with a lot of toots and burps. I wouldn't worry about it unles they are screaming in pain. Their fussiness in the day--do you think they are still hungry? Most foods don't make babies gassy, but some moms find certain foods do. Dairy products-milk, cheese, etc can.
Any change in diet can make a baby gassy, but usually it is the other way around.
I don't know how long it takes to drain the formula out of the body. I would think at least several days.

You are correct on the Twins. As for when I pump, whenever I have time. I've been trying to pump after they've both fed, but they tend to be on different eating schedules. Today it seems they are about an hour apart. Besides that, I tend to get destracted with house chores.
As I am a SAHM and also the only one home all day. My MIL likes the house clean. Except the grandparents just moved out, so it is complete mess. It has been for about 10 years.
Another thing, I've been trying to store up some BM so that I may be able to go back to work. That or atleast have some on hand for when I'm not around. Kori tends to eat around 4oz and her brother, Dain, eats about 3oz.
Is there any good way to burp a kid who is hard to burp in the first place? I've tried almost everything and it just gets to the point where I give up.

I've never ever have pumped around 8 times a day, so I don't know. It's only been recently that I've been BFing 'em.

Well that's fine, I wasn't sure. I don't know how you have time to pump at all with twins. You are amazing!

Is he uncomfortable or does he spit up if you don't get a burp? If not I would not worry about it.

Yes, they both do.
I tend to skip the diapering during the night to make sure I get enough sleep. I don't turn in normally until about 11pm. Is it wise for me not to diaper 'em after I go to bed?
Also, I tend to do other things while breastfeeding. Should I be doing those other things or drop them and consintrate on BFing? For other things I do, it is either TV or some form of electronics.

Try putting him over your shoulder so his tummy is on your shoulder or try putting on his tummy on the bed or whatever and rub his back startiing from the neck down. If you can stretch his little arms above his head that sometimes works.

I applaud you for not changing diapers at night. I always tell my moms to do the same. Absolutely do whatever you wish while you are BFing. You are a wise woman.

MIL doesn't like that I don't change diapers during the night. VERY concerned about Diaper rash.
As for another question that I have is:
My kids are 3 months old, going on 13wks. They tend to poop either about once a day or once in a great while.
An another thing is that I've got one kid whom LOVES to nurse. I mean if she could do it for the complete day, she would. What should I do about it? In short it leaves me with either no time to do house work or long hours of her fussing.
Just thought of something else. Is it normal for a person to change a kids diaper about 3 or 4 times a day with a 3 month old? JC as that's about how often I do it.
I'm sorry if I seem to be pestering you. It's just that I haven't been in to see a doc or LC in a while. It's been about a month since doc. 3 months since LC.
