MIL doesn't like that I don't change diapers during the night. VERY concerned about Diaper rash.

As for another question that I have is:
My kids are 3 months old, going on 13wks. They tend to poop either about once a day or once in a great while.

An another thing is that I've got one kid whom LOVES to nurse. I mean if she could do it for the complete day, she would. What should I do about it? In short it leaves me with either no time to do house work or long hours of her fussing.

Just thought of something else. Is it normal for a person to change a kids diaper about 3 or 4 times a day with a 3 month old? JC as that's about how often I do it.

What books should I read? Mainly ones that can be found at a local library.
I'm sorry if I seem to be pestering you. It's just that I haven't been in to see a doc or LC in a while. It's been about a month since doc. 3 months since LC. Then again I'm a thinker.

For PPD 1-800-944-4773. Please call for help.

As for your other questions, if the babies are completely breastfed, it would be normal for them to poop once a day or once in a while at 3 months of age.

About the changing of diapers: 3-4 times seems low, but is this so more from not having to change their diapers or not wanting to change the diapers more frequently.

As for nighttime changing, I didn't always get up to change diapers in the middle of the night unless they pooped or if a diaper rash was developing.

In terms of the baby who loves to nurse all day long: Have you tried a carrier. Maybe all she wants is to be near you.

Good Luck,
Assunta

My daughter seems to sleep a lot, even during the day. She'll sleep for a good 6 to 8 hours at night, sometimes during the day. Also she doesn't seem to eat for very long either. Maybe a total of five minutes per feeding. Though she also loves to nurse. Is this normal?

MS seems to be almost the complete opposite. He'll sleep for about two to three hours and then want to be fed or just be around me. He's very easy to please and the only worry about him is if he's gaining wait okay.

I've tried the carrier but it doesn't work out to well. If I'm not moving and she's in it, she'll cry. I have a Baby Bjorn Sling.

As long as the babies are gaining wt. well, I would not worry about the duration of their feedings.
All babies are different. What's normal for your daughter may not be normal for your son.
Again, look at wt. gain. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I've always liked the Nursing Mother's Companion by Huggins. You can also find a lot of good information on breastfeeding.com
