How soon can I begin pumping breast milk after delivery. I am noticing that at feeding times the opposite breast is flowing simaltaniously...and by the time the baby goes to feed it is dry. :(

If the baby is breastfeeding well, I would wait until after the two week growth spurt before starting to pump.

I don't think the other breast is dry. What you're experiencing is the milk ejection. The breast is never empty. It can be well drained but as long as the baby continues to suck, milk continues to be produced.
