Anyone have any ideas on how to do that tastefully. In Michigan. Where it may be snowing?
My dept is hosting a costume party for the students and I"m hard pressed to come up with an idea. So I figured that barefoot and pregnant would be a great idea and cheap. I don't want to be immodest or offensive though.
Any ideas on how to pull it off?

Take your snow boots off once your inside :)
I like the idea though. I think it will be cute and tasteful because you actually are pregnant and probably cute like all pregnant women :)

When I think barefoot and preggers (i'm from the south) I think cutoff shorts and tank top, may not be good in winter, but you could improvise...flannel shirt and pants barefoot? Sounds cute! The people in my office are boring, no one ever wants to dress up!

Totally cliche here but i think of a tank top and overalls with hair in piggy braids. and barefooted!

I agree with Katielou.
I went as a pregnant cheerleader once (think more like NBA cheerleader). DH went as a 70's NBA player. He had a afro, short shorts, knee socks and chuck taylor's on. We won 3rd place.. :D

Do you think an oversized flannel shirt over a tank and jeans with pig tails will work? I don't think I own any overalls anymore. Or if I do where they'd be. Or if they'd fit me. Maybe I'll look for them today.
