I have roseasia. I hate how my face looks. I also have big pores. There's an astringent I have used and it seems to close the pores some. I have used/am using an antibiotic cream for the roseasia and sometimes it helps, other times it doesn't. It does dry my skin out, but any moisturizer cream will redden it back up. I use some cream (Aveeno I think) that's supposed to lessen the redness, but I don't think it does, I think it doesn't redden it as much as other moisturizers out there.
I'm looking for some solutions. Any suggestions?
I'm not always good at following a routine - putting cremes on each night or morning.
Are there peels that are helpful? I have never used a peel or had any kind of spa treatment.

I hope you get some answers. I have no idea.
I have roseasia too - and hormones and allergies..everything either disagrees with my skin in one way or another. The one thing I DO do that helps is sunblock. The sun(and wind) makes my skin/cheeks so much tighter and painful, wearing sunblock even when i think I won't go in the sun seems to help.
...but I have no idea what to do about my GIANT pores.

Light glycolic acid peels have helped me with breakouts, pore size, reduced freckling (which I kind of like anyway) and generally been a wonderful thing for me.
I don't have rosacia so I don't know how it would help but I think you can get free consults from local surgeons and local spas and get some answers. They can range from $100 to $1000 but there are so many versions, it really depends on which would best suit your skin and budget.

Have you tried Selenium Sulfate Lotion 2.5%? That's what finally worked on my mother's rosacea. As for Aveeno, that made Jacob's eczema worse.
My skin is horrible right now. I was diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis several years ago, but I've gotten even worse lately. Recently my eye doctor told me that she thinks I have rosacea along with the seborrheic dermatitis, but I don't know. In my case, with the seborrheic dermatitis, I know a peel wouldn't be a good idea. However, I don't know what to do about it because the worse my health/immune system gets, the worse my face looks. With all my allergies and with a positive TB skin test, I'm very limited on what I can use.
