The ATF says it has broken up a plot to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate 102 black people in a Tennessee murder spree.

In court records unsealed Monday, agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target an unnamed by predominantly African-American high school by two neo-Nazi skinheads.

Plot is the wrong word. To plot means to plan and scheme which requires intelligence. Instinct, like animals in the wild working together to kill for food would be a better word. "Two skinheads instincts thwarted". That's better.

See I don't see it as instinct. It isn't a white man's instinct to kill a black man. It is hate, stupidity, and evil that fuels it, not some natural instinct. Maybe it should have read:

"Two skinheads hateful scheme thwarted"

How scary. I have always worried about this, ever since I found out Hilary and Obama were running for president.

ETA: OKay, I know that if the President and VP are killed that the speaker becomes Pres, but if the Pres is killed and the VP becomes President, does the Speaker become VP?

IIRC - If the Pres is killed, the VP becomes President and picks his own VP. What happened with JFK?

I beleive it. The city of chicago is taking it seriously too. I have been on cal all week since october 30th. My days off, I must have all my fire gear at home and be prepared to go where they tell me in case of riots etc. Especially on election day, when Obama and 1000 will be in Grant Park in downtown Chicago.

I've heard people express fears of riots in the black population if he loses, and now we have skinheads threatening/plotting violence as his success increases.

Whether he wins or loses, I hope his role in increasing the black population's involvement in politics will help to empower the black population and phase out the "angry black man" attitude that seems to stem from the lack of empowerment that slavery and black poverty has started in this country.

Maybe once they feel like they're being heard, too, they will feel less frustration and anger.

(That's a politically heavy statement for me. I hope I worded it right. I guess I should mention that I do not see the "angry black man" attitude in all black men - or women, for that matter.)
