Read some tips here (http://c-r-o-w.blogspot.com/2008/10/top-3-ways-to-keep-your-cats-safe-on.html).

An excerpt:
"The Top 3 Ways to Keep Your Cats Safe on Halloween

1. Keep your cats inside.
This will protect them from increased foot and car traffic in poor visibility, and will prevent them from becoming targets of pranksters. Secure them in a room, if needed, to keep them from getting out when the door is opened for trick-or-treaters."

Thanks for the reminder. I usually set up a table and sit out side, with dd2 being so tiny and it getting cold I am thinking I'll be inside this year.

My fat boys are so lazy I could leave the door open for a month and they'd never go outside. ;)

Great tips though. I remember my guys chasing those spider rings around the house last year.

Great reminder!!

We're moving the litter, food, and water into the bathroom off of our bedroom and closing them up in the bedroom. I don't want to risk one deciding that all of a sudden he wants to get motivated and move his overly large rear out the door.

Many of these tips go for dogs too.

My poor dog hates Halloween. It is so stressful for her to have people ring our door beel constantly.
