Those are my son's new favorite words. He started using "stupid" a few night ago and "poopy head" is brand new today. So when he first used "stupid" my response was, "that is not a nice word and we do not use it in this house". My response only seems to get the word used more, so would it be better if I ignored it completely? Tonight we tried time out since he chose to call me "stupid". That did not seem to work either. Help! This fresh behavior is making me nuts!

No advice here but a funny story about my bro. My mom told me that once when her parents came over my brother told her "I don't have to pick up my damn toys." Shocked her and my grandparents. He was so proud too that he learned the word.

Would he accept a replacement word?
DS wanted to call DD a teetee baby but was ok with calling her bumble baby or kooky baby instead. These are other things he's called her in the past that didn't bother me as much as "tee tee" (if you're not from this part of the country, that's the same as pee).
