My 17 month old daughter seems to need to nurse in order to nap or sleep at night. She sleeps in her own bed, but if she is at her grandma's house she might sleep for a very short nap with a pacifier in a pack n play. If I am at home, she will absolutely not go to sleep for my husband, but will scream and try to come get me. We haven't tried having me leave the house at nap or night time because I am worried it will disrupt her sleeping patterns (she already is a very light sleeper and we just recently got her down to one night waking). I don't feel it is necessary to wean her completely, but I would like to stay out late once in a while or even be able to take a weekend trip with my husband. Any ideas?
