I have an Ameda Purely Yours double electric pump.

I need some new valves for it.

No local stores carry Ameda pump parts nor Lansinoh pump parts. Lansinoh apparently bought out Ameda and Lansinoh parts can be used with an Ameda pump.

Ugh! I found some valves online but the shipping cost is quite high. Any suggestions to get new ones or would you suck it up and pay shipping?

(at one online retailer, the shipping is $9 plus the cost of the valves. Seems kind of high for shipping, maybe I'm wrong in thinking that is high?)

I know that I got my pump parts from amazon.com. If you do the amazone store and not the other retailers, you can spend $25 and get free shipping. So I bought some freezer bags with it and some other things I normally buy at the store and it cost me the same as if I bought it in the stores

And you probably already tried this, but what about the hospital, they usually carry some pump stuff, but I don't know if they would carry what you are looking for?

Walmart, target or Babies R Us dont have anything? Actually, I buy all my pump accessories from my LC...You could check with a local LC

I actually can't find any of my pump parts at target or walmart. toys R us is a hit and miss. Depends on which one you go to. i looked up the LC in her area, and they only have medela parts. I think that it is rediculous that it is so hard to find bfing parts for you pump. yet again you see how this country is not for bfing

Yeah, this stinks!

Wal-Mart carries Lansinoh pumps but not pump parts.

Target, Toysrus, and Babiesrus do not carry any Lansinoh/Ameda pump parts. The person I talked to at Toysrus suggested I buy a brand new different brand pump so I can find my pump parts there. hahaha. My pump is not the problem silly lady. I just need some new valves.

I've tried a few specialty shops in the area and everyone carries Medela but nothing else.

The two local hospitals that I called (oh yeah, there are two other ones to try. gonna try after lunch here) only carry Medela stuff.

I've called St. Vincent's and St. Mary's Hospitals but there are two other ones I can (and will be calling after lunch here) try to see what they carry.

Well, if anything...I guess I pay the cheaper online rates for the valves and pay the high shipping. I need the valves. Darn it!

I know with Amazon, I can usually find something to get to $25, so you don't have to pay shipping. You can get diapers and wipes there, and other grocery staples.

I think the look I would have given the toys r us lady would have looked like I was shooting daggers at her

Do they have the parts anywhere that has shipping for free at a certain price? Maybe you can buy a few of the parts to come to the dollar amount, or the parts that that you need, plus spare parts to have a back up set, like horns or something.

Yay! I found some valves finally.

They are at a home medical supply store. The price sucks but I do need them (and nothing else for my pump, darn it!).

The valves are $4.50 each. Ouch.

Thanks for all your help:)
