I finally saves enough money to splurge on some fabric to make some pouch slings and baby blankets for the baby. I spend every singe dollar I saved the last 5 months! I am sooo excited because I got the very fabric I wanted! AND it was on sale. Buy 2 yards get one free. I have enough to make me 4 slings (2 to give away as gifts) and 2 baby blankets. I'll post pics in a few but I'm going to start making them today!

Oh that is exciting! I have had to put sewing on hold for a while, and really miss fabric shopping.

Yes! It was like perfect timing. I had not stepped foot into the store in 3 months.

Got the pics taken. I have the polkadots and light pink fleace cut. Now I can start sewing.
The fleace is going to be the inside where the baby lays. It's the super soft stuff. the outside is silky

And some random stuff for another pouch sling. I have enough to make 4.

Off to set the sewing machine up. I'll post pics when I'm done with one.

Thanks girls!!

Done with one.. *sniff sniff* I made it one inch to small for me! I need a 28 and it's a 27.. I am 7 months pregnant. Hopefully I'm just measuring 1 inch to big because of the belly. hehe. If not. Someone interested in buying it? I can make one more. Just have to be careful with my seam allowances.

All of the fabric cost about $25 to make the one. It's kind of steep but I can make it smaller if someone needs it smaller.

They also had Blue/chocolate Damask as well as blue in the polkadot as well as stripped in pink and blue. They had just got them in that day. After I bought mine other people wanted the bold and started buying it all up. I was worried but she said they had lots more in back LOL!
