I'm not very good at sewing, but tried making a little skirt for my daughter. I hope the white thread doesn't look too tacky. I've got the Christmas bug WAY early this year! :P Did I mention my daughter picked the fabric out by herself? :D

Cool. Thanks, Jessiehannan. I made sure not to post a pic of the elastic case. :) The stitching goes everywhere! Luckily, her shirt covers it.

Remember that an iron and a seam gauge are your best friends when sewing. :)

Cute!
I think red tread would have been cute but the white is fine too.

I have this intense love of gingerbread people. I hand-sewed Holden a little gingerbread fingerpuppet out of wool felt the other day. I might take a pic of him later.

How cute is that! It's never too early to get into the holiday mood, IMO!

I've been sewing since I was four, and I hardly use either of these. LOL.
Cute skirt! If the white thread bothers you, you can always find a cute ribbon or trim to stitch around the bottom to cover it.

I'd rather iron then pin! I hate pins. Especially with a serger, you can't sew over them. :)

I was thinking the same thing, some brickbrak would totally finish that off!
You did good :)
