Poor Baby!! :(

I just ran into my neighbor who was just getting home from the clinic.

Her ds just had his 1 yr vax's yesterday and he is having such a hard time.

Everytime he moves his leg, gets picked up or anything he screams bloody murder.

The dr says he is having muscles spasms in his thigh where they did his vax's. And there is nothing they can do for him, it has to work itself out.

I feel so bad for him. Has anyone ever had this happen? Know any home remedies to make him feel more comfortable?

I wanted to cry with him. He looked so sad! :(

Perhaps some arnica gel rubbed on to his leg? A bit of massage? Poor guy. :(

Whats arnica gel? I have never heard of it.

arnica gel is a natural pain reliever, if they cant find that mineral ice or icy hot *may* help a little. but also giving the baby some Tylenol couldn't hurt, neither could a warm bath with mommy or daddy holding and comforting.

my ds goes threw hell every shot as well. but it is never near as bad as when he only gets one shot at a time, which is the schedule I have worked out for him now.

They could use a warm or cold compress (I would think that cold would help more). An OTC pain reliever might help, too. Poor baby. :(

I was thinking tylenol and warm bath as well, or a warm wash rag. Poor honey :(
