The Pain.....

Is to much. I have been having this pain in my ovary/uterues for the past 1 1/2 weeks. Tonight it is getting pretty bad though. It hurts to walk, lay down. Basicaly everything makes it hurt a little more. I don't know what is causing this pain. I think I might be taking a trip to the ER tomorrow. This is to much. I can barely carry my Lil man. and he loves to be in mommy's arms. I really hate not having insurance. Going to PCP is a lot better than going to the ER.

Man I can't stand this pain. It just seems to be feeling worse. My DD doesn't want to go to bed which is why I am still up. I also still have to make my DH lunch for tomorrow. I can barely move I might just skip making him lunch.

I would say ovarian cyst. What you are describing, was me about 2 months ago. The pain was awful! It ruptured and was pain I never felt before, but after that I was better.

My dr said she couldn't do much for me at the time.

As for the pain, I agree that it could be pregnancy or an ovarian cyst. With one of my pregnancies, I hurt like that before I knew I was pregnant. Then after I miscarried, and a sonogram was done, an abnormal cyst with septation was found. Such cysts can be really dangerous, so I was fortunate that it cleared up without surgery.

Another possibility, especially in light of some things you've posted about in the past, is pelvic inflammatory disease. You really need to be seen by a doctor.

Well the pain this morning is much better than last nigh. It still hurts especialy if you put pressure on my abdomen. But at least I can walk today with all the pain. I still think that I will be heading up to the ER when my DH gets home today.

Ok now I am mad. Very mad. My DH just told me that he wont be home until late. Like after 7pm tonight. I really wanted to go early to the ER. Not late. I now am starting to run a low grade fever. This morning it was 99.3 and now it is 99.8 and i aldo have really bad goose bumps and the chills/shakes and I keep feeling dizzy and my eyes are burning really bad. I can barely get off the couch without feeling like i am going to fall over from the dizziness.

I have a car but I would have no one to watch the kids for me while at the ER. I can't leave them alone in the room if they take me for a test. I am trying to get ahold of a friend but she isn't answering and I am also thinking of asking my Sis is she would go with me but she is just about to put her DD down for a nap.

When I was a single mom I would bring both boys with me because I had no choice and if they needed to they would get one of the volunteers to watch the kids for me.

Yes fever and all your symptoms just raise lots of red flags for me. Get seen ASAP.

Well I got ahold of her DH and she went to the ER (don't know results)
and then she went to her sister's house after so she had help watching the kids.
I don't think her sister has internet.
Hopefully she'll get home soon and let us know how she's doing.

I just talked to her a little while ago. She's home and miserable :(
From what I can gather she has an ovarian Cyst but they couldn't figure out why
she had a headache and fever too so they did bloodwork and a spinal tap.
I'm sure they were making sure she didn't have meningitis. Luckily it was clear.
Anyways they didn't figure out what was causing the temperature.
They at least sent her home with pain meds. They're not working too well though :(
She would have let us know sooner what was going on but her internet and cable
got shut off today while she was gone. Poor thing had a crappy day all around. :crying:
I'll keep everyone informed if anything else transpires.

She says thanks everyone ... she's sorry she couldn't post this herself, and that she's
just gonna lay down and get the sleep she needs right now to get better.

Thank you ladies for all your thoughts. I am finaly able to walk around and not be in constant pain. I haven't had to take pain meds now for the past 2 days. I did wind up out at the hospital again because my Spinal Tap wouldn't heal right. All the symptoms are gone now and I am back to 100% again. I just got my internet back on yesterday but I didn't know until today about the internet being on. Well thanks all for everything and what not. I am sorry I made everyone worry.
