Does anyone know what the difference from the regular enfamil?

not 100% sure but i have gotten checks for them and its supposed to be better suited to what a baby that age needs for nutrition.

Really there isn't much difference I think "next step" has more iron and a few other items, DS takes it now and never noticed a change...I think it also has a few more calories and is more powdery than the other...
I am still breastfeeding my 8 1/2 month old dd but my supply has really dipped and I have samples of the 9-24 month formula and Im not sure if I should give her this or the regular enfamil. I dont want it to mess her up.

i dont think it will mess her up. my dd had whole milk at 9 months and she is fine

THe difference is mainly in the marketing of the product, which convinces moms that their baby continues to need formula well into the second (and apparently third) year.
If you're having problems with supply such that you need to supplement, might I suggest checking out the link in my sigline?

It does contain more iron, which older babies tummys can handle better than infants.
Do you think that is the only difference? I just dont want to be giving my baby powered cows milk- like carnation milk- you know what I mean?
