:confused:Wondering if any one could help with a question. I had my daughter first week of august I got my first period in october (same day we lost my mother-in -law to lukemia). It was a bad one VERY heavy and lasted for over a week i guess i was spoiled befor my pregnancy i had had an IUD for 8 years so very light periods that lasted 3 days and were like clock work every 27 days. I know while breastfeeding some people never get there cycle, but if you are one that does is it normal a normal cycle or does it just pop up when ever? I guess what i realy want to know is.. is there a way to map it out to know when I ovulate.. we want another baby but l would love a little more time though if it happend now that is fine too. I have been late twice befor this in my life and I have two beautiful daughters so I dont know what to think.

when i had dd we tried for another and i never got my period and we ended up pregnant when she was 4 months old. at the time i really had no idea if or when we would get pregnant so it was a nice surprise. but i knew i probably wouldnt get my period since i didnt while nursing my first dd, so i started taking my temp and checking my cervix everyday and i made a fertility chart so i could try to at least be a little aware of what was going on in there

My DS is almost 13 months and I just got my period for the first time yesterday. I've been nursing, but one other factor that may have contributed to a delayed cycle is that I'm very active and run a lot. I'm not sure when we might try for another, but does anyone know a good resource for how to chart body temp and cervix?
