Mushroom question

Ok maybe I'm freaking out a little bit here but is it OK for a 3 yr old to have mushrooms? DH gave DS the mushrooms out of his dinner at the Chinese restuarant today. They were the regular white ones and shitake (sp?) Neither DH or I like them at all and DS has never had them until today.

It's fine for a 3 yr old to have mushrooms as far as I know. I've never heard that mushrooms as not okay for children. My kiddos had them earlier than that.

0y two year old eats mushrooms. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Diddo. I wouldn't go picking mushrooms in the back yard and cooking them, but I think commercial mushrooms are ok.
